The Story
Lom, the last known Neanderthal has been pushed out of his traditional homeland and has traveled to strange new lands. Surrounded by unfamiliar beasts and plants, can he learn to survive in this harsh new world? And will the locals tolerate this new threat to their way of life?
The Heroes
Lom - The last of his kind. Teenaged, gentle, giant, wanderer, lost and alone, looking only to survive.
Kaja - Lom's constant companion - a wooly mammoth, loyal and protective.
Hami - Young warrior of the Akari tribe, proud and eager to prove himself.
Neela - Hami's younger sister, who senses there's more to this stranger than meets the eye.
The Series
Told through a series of short stories, the tumultuous adventures of Lom, Hami and Neela's journey from strangers to becoming a tribe of their own making is one fraught with dangers from wild animals, intolerance, as well as having to overcome their own inner conflicts.
